Pass the legislation to prohibit billionaires and corporations from buying politicians and our elections. It will make politicians answer to constituents. Simple
No it's far from simple. Many years ago, when citizens united came about onto the floor, it was so intentionally promoted in a false way. Just the name citizens united is the complete opposite of what it is.
Citizens united basically says that corporations are equal to human beings and that they have the same rights. Obviously not true. A passing of this bill though however gave corporations all the power that they have now. The power of this far more powerful than individual human votes and rights.
Just ask yourself and then do some searching to find the answers this question: “Just who benefits from ‘Citizens United’?” It sounds warm and fragrant, wholesome, like homemade bread and cranked out ice cream, doesn’t it? Do some research, some reading of trusted sources. And, then do some analytical thinking. Now, ask yourself the same question again, armed with facts and truths and hard evidence with examples. Who benefits from Citizens United? Who is harmed and left behind?
Citizens United Should End, but Please speak about taxes intelligently. Go to FreedomLawSchool.org and get educated.! Only Those People Who live in Washington DC or are Federal Employees or Work for the Government Owe Federal Income Taxes.!!! Al the Things like the Roads, and the Schools are Already Being Paid for from Other Funds.! The IRS and Income Taxes have been Corrupt from the Beginning.!
I wouldn’t call it “the anniversary of Citizens United,” as if it’s something to celebrate. That day sounded the death knell for democracy…government of, by, and for THE PEOPLE. It wasn’t citizens who were united, it was BILLIONAIRES UNITED to take over the U.S. and turn it into a playground for oligarchs, while the rest of us, in slave-like fashion, minister to their “needs.”

The people have moving billboards to send messages to the world, but the movement has to be started in order for people to follow)

Please check how your Congress people are voting. I did this and my Dem house member - Josh Riley- scores an “F”. It’s a big wake up call for me.
