As a beginning member of Common Cause and Public Citizen I have been appalled at the regression on many fronts that has taken place. Citizens United is a reflection of $$$’s subversion of our democractic system.
The US became an oligarchy with citizens united. The last two barriers are failing now to becoming an autocracy (rigging of the voting system in all ways and the Supreme Court ruling in nearly all cases that the executive branch is superior to the other branches and laws). I hate to break it to you, but it's over. Unless the people can stop the Supreme Court from giving everything away… 🤔 🤷🏽♂️
I don’t know why she is speaking against this when she takes money from AIPAC. It’s obviously not illegal, but it is morally wrong.
Citizens United is bad. So she should speak out against it. It doesnt mean she shouldnt speak because she isnt perfect!
