It is the reason the personification of that morphing now violates 1600 Pennsyvania Ave. It has thrown our national barometer of honesty, decency, humanity and adherence to right and wrong way out of kilter. Without it recinded, without corporate access to, the buying, selling and corruption of our elected officials ended, down the slippery slope to a crumbling society we'll continue. "Without the occasional revolution, a democracy dies.", so said Thomas Jefferson. Ours, I'm afraid, is long overdue.
