As President and CEO of Common Cause, Virginia Kase Solomón leverages her 30 years of experience in advocacy, organizing, and policy to deliver pro-democracy wins at every level of government. Prior to joining Common Cause, she served as CEO of the League of Women Voters where she led the organization through rapid growth and success. As a nationally respected leader, she has been asked to testify before Congress on voting and elections multiple times. She has appeared in major media outlets, including The New York Times, Time Magazine, Vogue, and more. In 2020, she was named in People en Español’s Most Powerful Women of the Year list, and in 2022 and 2023, she was named one of the 500 Most Influential People in Washington by Washingtonian Magazine.
