What stands out here isn’t just the corruption — it’s how openly transactional it’s become.

This fits a broader historical pattern I’ve been writing about: Republican administrations repeatedly framing military action as necessity or strength while quietly serving extraction and profit. Once you look at it structurally, Venezuela isn’t an exception — it’s confirmation.
